Dumbbell Rear Foot Elevated Split Squat

Equipment Required:

Dumbbell/s

To Set Up:

Begin with your rear foot placed on a bench or chair and dumbbells held by your side.

Position your front foot flat on the floor and approximately one stride in front of the bench or chair.

To Perform:

Lean forwards and lower yourself towards the floor until the thigh of your front leg is approximately parallel to the floor. Pause briefly in this position before pushing through the front leg and returning to the top position.

Throughout the split squat movement keep your knees in line with your toes.

Perform on both sides.
