Dumbbell Single Leg Sit To Stand

Equipment Required:

Dumbbell/s

To Set Up:

Begin sitting on a standard height chair. With the heels of your hands, hold a dumbbell close to your chest.

Position one foot flat on the floor, and the opposite foot held off the floor.

To Perform:

Lean forward and push through the flat foot to stand up tall. Pause briefly in a tall standing position before lowering, with control, to sit on the chair.

Throughout the sitting and standing movement keep your knee in line with your toes.

Perform on both sides.
