Front Foot Elevated Split Squat

Equipment Required:

None

To Set Up:

Begin kneeling with your front foot flat on an object 20cm high, and hands on hips.

The knee of your rear leg should be approximately a foots length behind the front heel.

The toes of your rear leg should be pulled forward and on the floor.

To Perform:

Lean forward and push through the front leg to lift into a tall standing position. Pause briefly in this position before lowering, with control, back to the floor.

Throughout the split squat movement keep your knees in line with your toes.

Perform on both sides.
