Leg Assisted Pull Up

Equipment Required:

Pull Up Bar

To Set Up:

Place a bench or chair underneath a fixed bar, then step up onto the bench or chair.

Grasp the bar with palms facing away from your, and hands slightly wider than shoulder width apart.

To Perform:

Using as much arm strength to control your movement as possible, bend your knees to lower your torso down until your elbows are fully extended. Pause for a moment in the bottom position, before using your arms to pull yourself back up, assisting with your legs.
