Resistance Band Pallof Press
To Set Up:
Attach a resistance band to a rack or other object so that it is roughly at lower chest height. Grasp the band with both hands and step to the side, so that the band trails directly to your side and becomes tensioned. Position your feet so that they are shoulder width apart, and hold the band at your chest.
To Perform:
With control, press the band directly away from your chest. The further your hands get from your chest, the leverage with which the band will try to pull you to the side. Resist this force by continuing to move your hands in a straight line. Once elbows are fully extended, pause for a moment, before returning to the start position.
