Split Stance Sit To Stand

Equipment Required:

None

To Set Up:

Begin sitting on a standard height chair with your arms across your chest.

Position one foot flat on the floor, and the opposite heel on the floor just in front of the other foot.

To Perform:

Lean forward and push through the flat foot to stand up tall. Pause briefly in a tall standing position before lowering, with control, to sit on the chair.

Throughout the sitting and standing movement keep your knees in line with your toes.

Perform on both sides.
